Genius baby?
I think so. This kid can escape from a serial killer. First off, he figured out how to use his teddy bear as a step to get out of his crib. Then he realizes that if he cries after falling out he'll be put back in. This sneaky move definitely saved his life. After that he manages to find his way out of the house and up the hill. Taking on the steps to a graveyard at that age seems super courageous, and I wonder what made him do all of this. Was he just curious? Either way, good thing he was or else Bod wouldn't have grown up to inhabit the graveyard with all of his friends and family.

I agree. Bod is extremely intelligent to be so young. And on top of things he just keeps learning more and more.
ReplyDeleteCaroline i agree with you about Bod being such a smart baby. I at first found it very weird that Neil Gaiman portrayed Bod like this but now that i have read more it makes more sense.
ReplyDeleteBod is very intelligent and mature for his age. I think partly because of the situation he is in, and also he has just pure luck. He has a hunger for knowledge that most kids don't even touch on.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I thought the exact same thing!! I don't know how many eighteen month olds would be able to do that. Good blog.
