It seems to me, after reading about Mo and Nick, that they symbolize the unsafe world outside the graveyard. Right as Bod tries to experience the world in a school system, he is faced with controversy. Although this is not a very happy time, I do believe that it taught Bod a lot about the outside world and putting his graveyard powers to use. There are many different way to view the situation, do you think it was a good or bad idea?

    I think Bod deserved some time out of the graveyard. It would make him more human, in a way.

    Being stuck in the graveyard has made Bod a very protected child. I think it will be good for him and it will help him realize what he will have to face in the future.
